Helping Adults in Active Recovery from Substance Abuse Maintain Sobriety and Increase Mental Wellness

Working on other mental health issues while actively engaged in recovery from addiction can seem impossible.

Perhaps you can relate. Maybe you know you'd be happier if you made changes but it feels safer and more comfortable to stay the same or you thought that everything would be better once you were sober.

Stuck in negativity and feeling unmotivated, you may feel like life is overwhelming even while sober.

Do You Feel Ashamed, Moody, Overwhelmed?

Do any of the following resonate with you?

Being sober was not enough to treat your mental health concerns.

You wake up every morning feeling overwhelmed and depressed.

You feel like you're living at a frenzied pace leaving you frazzled and stressed.

You feel like you are wandering through life, feeling like something is missing or your balance is "off."

You feel like there are so many things to manage and your forever growing "to-do list" leaves you feeling completely overwhelmed.

Counseling Can Help You be Active in Recovery by Addressing other Mental Health Concerns

It’s possible to feel better. Imagine a life where you could...

Feel like you are strengthening you recovery plan.

Have improved attitude, mood, and productivity.

Shift into a more positive and hopeful outlook on life.

Figure out who you are and what direction to go in next.

Improve your relationship with yourself and those you choose to share yourself with.

Get to the root problems and solve those instead of using band-aids.

If these sound true for you, I want you to know that you're not "crazy." And even though you might feel alone in your struggle, what you are going through is common and it's okay to ask for help. Even if you don't believe you deserve care, you do. You deserve to take care of yourself.
